Greetings!

A very warm welcome is extended to you and your child from the entire family at Exuma Christian Academy! We know that you will enjoy being a part of our school community and that your child will thrive here. This is a school of prayer that God has designed for such a time as this. He has awakened leaders from all walks of life, who are inspired by Him to assist in developing His purpose on the island of Exuma.

Much of the communication process at E.C.A. will be streamlined via our website and digital systems. We believe that it is important that as a parent/guardian, you feel welcome in the school. E.C.A. offers students a diversity of learning opportunities in a safe, caring, supportive, academically and athletically rigorous environment.

The Academy is adult-friendly, supporting the needs, hopes, and dreams of both employees and parents. Parents are welcome at the school and will enjoy seamless communication, feedback on demand and flexible services that cater to the holistic (scholastic, social, emotional and spiritual) development of their children.

Education is a partnership between home and school, with a shared responsibility based on trust and mutual understanding. We thank you for entrusting your children in our care and are committed to helping them to develop their full potential. The co-operation and participation of parents in our school in the education of your child is positively required. A good relationship between school and home builds a child’s confidence, develops their learning capacity and helps them to fulfill their potential in all areas.

Exuma Christian Academy History

The creation of Exuma Christian Academy, (E.C.A.), is the result of many years of prayer and fasting by multiple individuals who came together to forge a long-anticipated partnership and create a new school on the island of Exuma for the Fall of 2018. The Academy is founded by Mrs. Keniqua Burrows and family. Many other professionals in the spheres of education, medicine and religion; played important roles in the formation of E.C.A. All of these individuals have a burning desire to see God’s vision for Exuma fulfilled through children that are well equipped to make an impact in their spheres of influence.

The time is ripe for Exuma to shine as number one in The Bahamas in all areas including Education. Exuma Christian Academy is not only a school; it is the start of an ecliptic revolution, a supernatural revival and awakening that begins with the promotion of discipline and self-respect in our youth and will continue with the development of unparalleled skills in collaboration, innovation, communication, leadership and service. The students, parents and faculty of E.C.A. are “Conquerors” in every area of their lives and look to the future with great anticipation.
