The Eastern Community Association will visit all schools in East New Providence during the next three months as our strategic partners.

Eastern Community Association will worship at Grace and Peace Wesleyan Methodist Church, Prince Charles Drive, on Sunday 6th of November,2011.

OPEN AIR FREE CONCERT

The Eastern Community Association presents an Open Air Free Concert on the Greens of Winton Meadows Park, located on Holly Road, off Meadows Boulevard, on Saturday November 19, from 3:00 pm.

This Concert will feature Eastern Community Pacesetters Youth/ Community Marching and Concert Band, RBDF, RBPF, H. M. Prison Band & other noted artists.

Bring your blankets & lawn chairs.

Food and Drinks will be on sale.

EASTERN COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION SEMINAR

 The Eastern Community Association will hold a Seminar for its Members at the Parish Hall of The Anglican Church of The Epiphany, Prince Charles Drive, Elizabeth Estates, on Monday October, 10, 2011 at 7:00 pm.

The Seminar will have as its Theme “We’re Building Successful and Safe Communities Within East New Providence.” It will be officially opened by Mr. Ryan Pinder, MP, Elizabeth.

Speakers will include Mr. Frank Carter, F. Carter Associates, Trade Union Consultant, Mrs. Charlene Paul, CPA, President   & CEO of Yeshua International, Her Ladyship Justice Claire Hepburn, Supreme Court Justice, Mr. Kenwood Kerr, CE0 Providence Advisors, Mr. Hulan Hanna, Assistant Commissioner of Police, and the Keynote Speaker will be Dr. Samuel Bain, Master Motivational Speaker, and Principle Mastering Yourself Institute.

INSTALLATION OF EXECUTIVES

The Eastern Community Association will hold its Installation of newly elected Executives for the next three years on Monday the 3^rd October, 2011 at 7: 00 pm at the Parish Hall of The Anglican Church of The Epiphany, Prince Charles Drive, Elizabeth Estates.

The Installation Ceremony will be officially opened by the Honourable T. Brent Symonette, MP, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Reverend Father Atma Budhu, Rector of The Anglican Church of The Epiphany, will deliver the Charge and Mr. Harcourt Brown, Director of Labour and Registrar of Trade Unions will be give the Keynote address.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING & ELECTION OF EXECUTIVES

The Eastern Community Association will hold its Annual General Meeting and Election of Executives on Monday 26^th September, 2011 at 7pm at the Parish Hall of The Anglican Church of Epiphany, Prince Charles Drive, Elizabeth Estates.

Mr. Morgan Graham, Senior Labor Officer of the Department of Labour, will conduct the elections.

Residents of East New Providence are specifically invited as well as the General Public.

ANNUAL HEALTH WALK AND SCREENING

The Eastern Community Association will hold its Annual Health Walk and Screening on Saturday November 12, 2011. It will start at 6:00 am on the Greens of Winton Super Value Parking Lot, Prince Charles Drive and Jasmine Drive.

It will travel east along Prince Charles Drive onto the Eastern Foreshore, west along Yamacraw Hill Road onto Commonwealth Boulevard, onto Prince Charles Drive and onto the Greens.

The Eastern Community Association will hold their tenth Annual Caroling and Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday December 9, 2011 at 7:00pm  at the Library grounds, Prince Charles Drive and Elizabeth Estates.

All Members of Parliament for East New Providence are expected to be in attendance and bring Yuletide greetings and the Honourable Charles T Maynard, MP, Golden Isles , Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture, will bring  the Yuletide remarks.

Their Excellencies will be in attendance and Her Excellency Lady Foulkes will officially light the Christmas Tree.
